The one-piece design attaches to your breast with suction and sits securely and discreetly in your bra. This suction is light and gentle to hold the product in place. It won’t draw out additional milk, so it’s ideal for mums who leak breast milk and want to save it without increasing their supply.
You can wear the Ladybug on the other side in your nursing bra while you’re breastfeeding to catch your letdown or wear one on each breast inside your bra as you carry on with your day. It is completely portable and has small feet on the bottom to stand upright on any flat surface, preventing spills after use.
Once you have finished collecting your letdown, open the plug on the top and safely pour out your milk into a container or bottle.
Cleaning + Care
Clean after each use. We strongly recommend cleaning and sterilising your Ladybug with any steam sterilising system or by boiling in water for 2-3 minutes. Only soft bristle brushes or soft sponges should be used to clean this product as hard scourers may scratch the surface. Exposure to detergent may make the clear silicone in this product appear cloudy. Instead, we recommend using a gentle, baby-safe dish soap. Do not use any bleach-based agents or sterilising tablets to clean this product. Do not use UV sterilisers to clean this product as it may impact its lifespan.

It attaches to your breast and sits inside your bra, using gentle suction to maximise the amount of milk it collects. Instead of letting your milk go to waste in nursing pads, the Ladybug helps save every drop.
Q. How is the Ladybug different from the Haakaa pump?
A. The Ladybug Milk Collector is designed only to collect milk leakage and let-down during the day, while Haakaa silicone pumps are designed to express milk using continuous suction. The Ladybug’s suction is gentle and not strong enough to express milk on its own.
Q. How long can I wear the Ladybug for?
A. Because the Ladybug sits against your body and can warm the milk above room temperature, it is recommended to wear it for no longer than 2 hours at a time. If you need to wear it longer, empty the collected milk into a safe storage container after 2 hours, store it in the fridge or freezer, wash the collector with warm soapy water, dry it thoroughly, and then reattach it.

A. No — the Ladybug is designed to be discreet under clothing. Its one-piece design is made from super soft and flexible food-grade silicone, allowing it to fit comfortably inside your bra without visible lumps or bulges.
Q. How do I wear the Milk Collector?
A. To attach the Ladybug, lightly press the back, centre the opening over your nipple, place it onto your breast, and then release your grip to create gentle suction.
Q. Why don’t I seem to get much milk?
A. The Ladybug is meant only to collect natural breast milk leakage and let-down, not to actively express milk. If you are not collecting much milk, it does not mean the product is faulty — it may simply mean that your body does not leak much milk during the day, which is completely normal.
Q. Can I empty my Milk Collector throughout the day into the same bottle?
A. Yes — you can store the milk collected during the day in the same bottle, but make sure the freshly collected milk is cooled first before adding it to previously stored milk. Always follow your country’s breast milk storage guidelines.
Q. Can I sleep with my Milk Collector on overnight?
A. You can wear the Ladybug overnight to help prevent leaks and stains on clothes or bedding. However, breast milk collected overnight should not be stored if it has been kept at room temperature for more than 4 hours. If you wear it for longer than 4 hours, the milk collected may not be safe for your baby.
